There is no doubt that Inglish Design have a strong reputation for being Harrogate’s leading company for all things bespoke. Over the past 16 years the company has won several awards for kitchen and bedroom design. As well as recognition for projects including bookcases and home studies. The companies focus is providing a bespoke manufacturing service as well as interior design has also seen the company be involved in commercial projects for Hotels, Offices and Reception areas. The most recent project being commissioned to make the reception furniture for the new Yorkshire Cancer Research centre in Harrogate.

Inglish Design Kitchens – where it began
The company was started with the focus was on hand painted bespoke kitchens. These being the very highest quality hand made kitchens, combined with the finest appliances, fittings and fixtures. The Harrogate kitchen showroom displays the very finest painted kitchens, all made in our workshop on site. We design every kitchen we make, and our cabinet makers install the kitchens as well. So we have complete control of the Kitchen Project from start to finish. This is what has gained Inglish Design the reputation it has. Our clients trust us completely, which is why the return for further projects.
However, the manufacturing space and showroom were always set up for anything bespoke. So, Inglish Design were always offering their clients other options. Bedrooms, Wardrobes, Dressing Rooms, Bookcases, Home Offices, Dining Rooms, Boot Rooms, Home Cinema Rooms, Pantry Rooms…….As well as pretty much any kind of fitted storage for any size and shape of space !
Susan Maxwell, Company Director, set the business up with Graham Ingle in 2007. Both had many years of bespoke manufacturing expertise. Susan has a Ba(hons) in Interior Design, and has worked on bespoke kitchen design for 30 years. Susan has also worked on full house interiors, and designed for many commercial projects. This combined with Grahams equivalent years and experience in the technical side of bespoke manufacturing and cabinetmaking, has allowed the company to take on a massive range of projects. This versatility has been the key to the businesses success.
