Easter 2016 Home Improvements
Easter is almost here, and as well as a this being a religious holiday, the long weekend allows many people time to see family and friends with a break from work over this long weekend. In the long, cold dark of the British winter, very little gets done to the exterior of homes around the country as the weather just is not suitable. But also, often little gets done to the interior of homes, as DIY is not on the minds of many throughout the winter months, so it can be March or even April before people start to see the light of day, and therefore the house can seem in desperate need of a bit of a going over by the time Easter comes.
Easter is a great time for home improvements because there are only a few Bank Holidays, so on weekends such as this people have a little bit of spare time. The weather around this time of year is also starting to improve, so a couple of sunny days are not unheard of, which means people can take care of the outside of their house. Whether this means cutting the grass for the first time in a few months, or planting a few seeds ready for spending time in the garden over the summer is up to you. Family gatherings often highlight the need for extra space, whether this be more work space or extra storage. Preparing the Sunday roast in a tired kitchen can cue the realisation that a new kitchen is needed. Or maybe the thought of a good spring clean and re organise can make people think of the need for some bookcases or built in storage. Having friends or family to stay highlights the need for new wardrobes or better use of bedroom space, maybe a new en suite, or perhaps thoughts turn to extending your property to make it better altogether. Whatever your requirement from design to installation, Inglish Design can help.
Inglish Design have worked in Harrogate and beyond for 9 years. We manufacture and design bespoke kitchens, but also can custom make furniture such as bookcases, wardrobes, and virtually any other furniture for the home. This can be freestanding or built in. As we are qualified in interior design we can space plan and design any room or area within the home. We we can provide great ideas for using space cleverly and creatively to suit our clients needs, and then have the benefit that we bespoke manufacture to meet this demand.
Inglish Design kitchens, are as with all of our furniture, made to the very highest specification. We can show our clients this in our showroom in Knaresborough. From our initial meeting and measure we will guide you through your kitchen project seamlessly, on time, as agreed and with a beautiful end result. Whether it is a hand painted kitchen or a timber kitchen, in a modern style or traditional we produce exactly what you want. We have a small team of skilled staff which allows us to tightly control quality and project management. We have a first class reputation for our customer service, and also for our design service.
A large part of our business is also bookcases and bedroom furniture. So from fitted shelves, bookcases for alcoves or large freestanding bookcases we can always provide a solution. Often bookcases will incorporate television and home cinema equipment, but we also make bookcases for studies, hallways, childrens playrooms and libraries. Our bedroom furniture can be as simple as a double wardrobe, or as complex as a fully fitted dressing room. Wardrobes and storage cupboards can also be made for boot rooms, and if you are lucky enough to have the space we have also designed storage for home gyms and pool areas – so again there simply are no limits !
Our interior design service is unlike many of those offered in and around Harrogate, as it is very much tailor made to suit each client, with no pressure for our clients to undertake the entire scheme. We can be involved in small projects such as colour consultation, full room, or even full house contracts. We can work alongside your own tradesmen, or recommend our preferred tradesmen.
If you have a project which you would like to discuss, please ring us on 01423 864951 or email info@inglishdesign.co.uk we can arrange a time for you to view our showroom, or we can make a home visit to your property
