Boiling Hot water taps – a luxury or a necessity

Over the past five years Inglish Design have noticed the increase in sales of these taps. When originally introduced to the kitchen market they were very much a luxury addition to any kitchen, and the first thing to be removed if the budget was running over ! However, these taps are now more affordable, and more varied in what they can offer. The truth is that once you have owned a boiling hot water tap you simply will never want a kettle again. at a very basic level if you have a lovely new bespoke kitchen do you really want an ugly kettle on show ! A boiling hot water tap is an energy effecient and fast way to have boiling hot water to hand, for a cup of tea or as an amazing aid to cooking. A boiling water tap allows you to speed up simple cooking tasks such as blanching, steaming, rinsing and boiling. They are also very useful for cleaning. Some boiling water taps also offer filtered cold water, and the very best taps on the market offer boiling, chilled, ambient and sparkling filtered water – everything you need and more  from one single tap !! We believe these taps are a sensible investment for any kitchen. Prices start at £590 and can be anything up to £4,000 depending on the manufacturer and function. This may seem like a lot of money, but deduct the price of a good quality filter tap and suddenly the additional cost seems worthwhile for a gadget that will make life a whole lot easier !

 Steam Combination Ovens

During the last decade a must have for every kitchen is a combi oven. An additional oven for your kitchen which provides microwave, grill and conventional oven settings. The latest progression from this is the Steam Combi. The steam Combination oven represents the ultimate in cooking flexibility, combining all the features of a conventional oven with the speed, simplicity and health benefits of steam cooking.  Refridgeration – the very best available

Leading the way with technology and style as always Sub Zero have a fantastic range of refridgeration available. How does Madonna keep her macrobiotic sea vegatables cool – in a Sub Zero Pro 48. Built to order, with a 40 year life time expectancy, controlled by your i-pad or smart phone with a 365 day a year support line ! Owned also by the likes of the Beckhams, and Steven Spielberg at around £23,000 these appliances are not priced for the faint hearted or the tight budget ! – but really are incredible. Sub Zero poineered built in refrdigeration and continue to do so, and many of the companies unique features are built into all of their models – even the cheaper ones ! Sub-Zero dual refrigeration, water filtration and new air purification systems guard freshness like nothing before. Plus advanced microprocessor controls and quality, magnetic door seals, which form a food preservation system engineered, built and tested to perform like no other. New Generation of Coffee Machines

Anyone who has had a built in coffee machine before will approch this next section with a sceptical outlook. Built in coffee machines previously have been assosciated with messy clean up and continous messages instructing descaling etc which remove the enjoyment which one should have from a coffee machine. Wolf have now introduced what they call a New generation of coffee machine which eliminates the hassle while providing you the perfetcly brewed coffee. So what makes it different ? Well Not only does the Wolf built-in coffee system produce a solid repertoire of beverages, it offers the convenience of a single-touch milk cleaning feature, which uses steam and requires no disassembly. It also comes with 1.8 liter water tank, so no additional plumbing work is necessary.

Thhe coffee system allows you to select the size you want from 4 push button presets. Choose from a 1-ounce espresso shot to a 12-ounce coffee. You can also program and save, using the customizable My Coffee setting, a drink size up to 7 ounces. You can choose from 5 strength settings when brewing with whole beans – from extra mild to extra strong. And speaking of whole bean, this Wolf coffee system holds about half a pound and grinds it automatically with its adjustable built-in stainless steel burr grinder that offers 13 grind settings. And, of course, you can also use ground coffee. An great feature is the Double Coffee button pours 2 identical cups in the same time. You can position a cup under each of the two spouts or place a large mug under the spouts to make a double-size coffee instead. No other built in machines offer this. You can also program a time for the system to turn itself on and warm up automatically, so it is ready to brew when you want. For safety and energy efficiency, the system powers down after a set period of inactivity. And once your coffee is ready, the Wolf built-in coffee system ejects the compressed grounds into a container, then lets you know when the container is ready to be emptied. A removable drip tray catches excess water from brewing and rinsing. Simply rinse it out just as you would your coffee cup.
