Inglish Design of Harrogate bespoke kitchens,furniture and interiors.

As we design and make all our  kitchens and furniture, and provide an interior design service,  we are often involved in different types of rooms. These generally need their very own bespoke interior solutions. We recently completed this bar for a client in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. The brief was to design one end of a cinema room to include integrated wine fridges, a small sink and bar area to sit at. We made the furniture in Walnut and stained it in a dark Jacobean finish which gies tha walnut a very rich colour. Mirror was then used at the rear of the bar area along with glass shelves and lighting. Siemens wine fridges were integrated to each side of the bar, with shallow cabinets between. The freestanding bar included a Kohler ice trough, a walnut worktop and additional storage. There is an overhang to the rear of the bar top to allow for bar stools.

Home bar design is quite a common request in Harrogate and Yorkshire properties. The design depends on the space which you have available. The key element when designing a  bar should be that it minimizes movements of the bartender and keeps all the products within their reach. So refridgeration, storage for glasses, and a small sink should be within arms reach and in a sensible working area. Their should be storage for different types of drinks and snacks. And then the key thing is the aesthetics – it has to look great !

Our interior design and bespoke furniture services in Yorkshire also involve us in “one off” bespoke interiors such as games rooms, hobby rooms and cinema rooms. We are currently installing a made to measure cinema room in Yorkshire, where all walls will be panelled including upholstered panels.
