 Living Room Furniture: Of course the strongest starting point for a vintage industrial interior is if you have the strting point of a converted industrial building. Exposed brickwork, and high ceilings certainly compliment the look, however this interior style can be applied to any home or any interior. The interior design style is a concept of hard materials against soft aspects, and old against new. But not overstepping these boundaries so that the overall interior remains classic and timeless.Living room furniture would again be painted, colourwashed timber or natural timber, with vintage classic pieces added in, perhaps an iconic chair adding a splash of colour or depth.  The rise of industrial style may be the single biggest reason that concrete floors have now entered the mainstream. If they are honed in finish or polished, they show industrial chic like few other materials can. Using chalky paint colours, or even stark white, against classic style traditional wardrobes or even very simple modern wardrobes you can make a very fresh bedroom. Open wardrobes and dressing room furniture, or vintage style freestanding wardrobes work well against plain or exposed brick walls. Timber wardrobes can be in oak colourwashed finishes or natural oak. Furnitur emade from timbers which are lighted in colur such as Maple or Sycamore are perfect against this interior. Bedding should be plain and simple, neutral carpets or exposed timber floors will enhance this style.

Choose a chair or stool which is robust and  perhaps straight from the era when industrialization began. Console tables and mirrors, dramatic doors, the use of metal against matt paint fininishes, and the glitz and sprakle of mirror and glass against the harshness of concrete.
