After gaining experience across different areas of design, I founded Inglish Design in 2007 with the aim of creating a studio that truly focused on bespoke, high-quality interiors. I wanted to offer clients something more personal \u2014 beautifully crafted spaces that feel timeless, not trend-driven. My main aim is proving the very best design, quality and service. Our clients are at the heart of everything we create, and its about providing them with the very best end result.<\/p>\n Susan:<\/strong> Inglish Design is all about craftsmanship, detail, and individuality. We design and create luxury bespoke kitchens, fitted bedrooms, studies, bookcases, media walls, and custom furniture, as well as providing full interior design services. Susan:<\/strong> Working across different sectors keeps things exciting and constantly evolving. Residential projects allow us to build very personal relationships with clients and design homes that truly support their lifestyle. This is my favourite sector. However, my past experience in commercial and hospitality projects bring another layer \u2014 they demanded strong visual identity, durability, and functionality, often on a larger scale. Each sector influences the other, and that crossover often leads to more innovative and well-rounded design solutions. I think that this experience allows me to see all projects at a detailed level. Its also been great in understanding how to work with projects and teams at all levels. I live in Richmond North Yorkshire which is a beautiful town to live in.\u00a0 So I feel lucky to live here and also work in and around Harrogate and Yorkshire – there is nowhere better. As a designer its great as it means I get to work on all sorts of properties.<\/p>\n Susan:<\/strong> My philosophy is that great design should be both beautiful and functional. A space has to work effortlessly for the people who use it every day. We focus on proportion, flow, and fine detail, always aiming for a look that feels sophisticated, warm, and enduring. I love collaborating with clients, understanding how they want to live, and translating that into a physical space. Leading a creative team and watching them grow, innovate, and produce such beautiful work is also a huge source of pride. What really sets us apart is the level of personal service and the way we tailor every project around how our clients live. Our showroom allows clients to experience the quality of our work, and our manufacturing in the same premises in Knaresborough means we maintain close control over craftsmanship and finishes. The same team that make any of our\u00a0 kitchens or furniture will install it as well – so we can closely follow every job from start to completion.<\/p>\n
