Every year we give our predictions for kitchen trends, what is new, what is fashionable, and whats coming in the future. Here is our take on kitchen design trends\u00a0for 2017-2018 !<\/h3>\n

Kitchen Design Harrogate<\/p>\n

White and Warm Tones<\/span><\/h4>\n

A prominent style now for the last 12 months and one that is continuing is the use of white and light shades combined with warm timbers. Architectural simple design in monochromes paired with rich warm tones of timbers such as Walnut or oak. Hard industrial elements paired with bright whites, or\u00a0charcoal greys, paired with timbers often in rustic finishes or dark stained to break down the otherwise potentially harshness of the scheme. The white and warm concept works well in any kitchen, and can be applied to contemporary plain kitchens or even hand painted shaker style kitchens.<\/h4>\n

Industrial and Vintage<\/span><\/h4>\n

Still common place in restaurant, hotel and retail this style still seems to be filtering its way into the residential home. Often via lighting, bar stools or dining furniture. It can be a hard look for a home to carry off, so it needs to be followed subtly. But by adding in splashes of vibrant colour via kitchen accessories and soft furnishings\u00a0it is a very stylish look, and one that will most likely remain for at least the next year.<\/h4>\n

Scandinavian Simplicity<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A look that will always work, simple lines, blocks of colour, light timbers. The use of a neutral palette and chalky hues. White and light, clean and clear. Clutter free, organised, and timeless. The handle free door remains, there are no visual suprises but that\u00a0in its self\u00a0is what makes it appealing.<\/h4>\n

Copper, Gold and Rose Gold<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The shift is beginning to happen form polished and brushed chrome as we see different metallic finishes coming into the kitchen industry. Rose Gold and polished Gold for taps, gold metallic and coppers on kitchen doors and being offered by laminate manufacturers. This new option on metallics\u00a0seems to have flooded the market in the last 6 months and is set to continue, with the next step being matt and brushed finishes in these metals.<\/h4>\n

Black Appliances<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

After everything stainless steel, we are now seeing a trend for black appliances beginning to filter through. Alongside this reinvented colour\u00a0options\u00a0is the choice of \u00a0matt\/ brushed black finishes. Our prediction is that matt charcoal grey will follow, and who knows, maybe white appliances might even\u00a0return…..gulp \ud83d\ude41<\/h4>\n
